About this listen
GAME OF THRONES meets THE CALL OF THE WILD!
When the raccoon kingdom wins a battle against the alligators, the King is left injured. Now, Crown Prince Ragabadeen is on the cusp of becoming the regent of the kingdom—a kingdom teetering on the edge of disaster.
But instead of preparing for his majority birthday, he worries about his father…and dodges the diabolical attacks by his younger brother, Prince Dadoon.
With his birthright threatened, and weary of the backstabbing court intrigue, Prince Ragabadeen sneaks outside the palace walls where he meets a beautiful raccoon who captivates him.
But she’s a commoner, and he’s betrothed to another.
With his birthday looming, he sees his betrothed after years apart. But when he discovers her secret, he flees.
Just as Ragabadeen takes to the waterways, mayhem is about to break loose in the kingdom—but the tables are turned when the runaway prince is the only one who can save his people.
Can he thwart a deadly conspiracy, fight a vicious enemy, and measure up to the courage and wisdom of his father?

Why Raccoons?
My main complaint is the virtual voice narration. Every character sounds exactly the same, which makes the conversations confusing.
Next, why racoons? There is very little to distinguish these characters from people, or their world from that of humans.
Finally, this novella is just the intro to a larger story. Nothing in the description says that. They have basically cut a novel into pieces so they can make more money selling them separately.
