About this listen

There continue to be many questions concerning the "Rapture" of the Church and its apparent contrast with the "Second Coming" of Jesus Christ. Where does this strange view come from? Is the term "rapture" even in the Bible?

Clearly, the idea of the Rapture can be considered the most preposterous belief in Biblical Christianity. The situation regarding the doctrine of the Rapture is painfully similar to the famous quote by Dr. Richard Feynman, speaking of quantum physics:

"I think it is safe to say that no one understands quantum mechanics...in fact, it is often stated of all the theories proposed in this century, the silliest is quantum theory. Some say that the only thing that quantum theory has going for it, in fact, is that it is unquestionably correct."

certainly, this book should be read more than once. I am on my 4th read. the references are exquisite.and you really should sit down and jot them down. It will help us to remember in the future what I think we need to know. What a great book.

my 4th time through

I listened to it twice as the rapture is Jewish dogma gone astray and the author tries to lead Christians down the wrong path using the rapture and Daniel to blaze the trail for him, but book was thought provoking but again, there is no rapture and the transition after death is instantaneous as Jesus said it on the cross and that's enough for me.

Good Hypothesis But Not True

very informative on the motivation to stay saved and always ready for the coming of Christ because the church and the world has dropped it's standard of the being holy and the reward we will receive

reason to seek the truth of being holy
