One of My Favorites Told by One of My Favorites!

This recording was made in 1957 by One of the greatest character actors ever: Broadway veteran and Oscar winner Edmond O'Brien. The sound levels are uneven which makes the loud portions excruciatingly loud and the soft portions barely audible, so you will have to play with your volume as you listen. But that is the only flaw I find in this marvelous performance of one of the greatest stories ever written. Bravo, Mr. O'Brien.

Annoying!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

It needed to contain the exact words of the abridged version of the book that matches the audible version! IT DOESN'T!!!!!!!! NOT AT ALL!

What do you think your next listen will be?

Nothing if it compares to this!

How could the performance have been better?

Duplicate the exact text of the book????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That would be MOST helpful!

Any additional comments?

IM DONE WITH AUDIBLE!
