The Reef Girl a Classic

This was the book that made me fall in love with Tahiti when I was a teenager. Now as an adult I speak French, have Tahitian friends and have embraced the Polynesian Culture. Being so much time that has passed between me reading it many years ago it was a pleasure to have it read to me. The writing is very descriptive and the voice acting pretty good. The narrator did a decent job, although his British accent or rather New England accented characters sounded French. Not a big deal being that those characters had a minor role and presence in the book. I highly recommend this novel! The voice of the Tahitian characters and especially that of the reef girl we’re good.
