Fascinating. I found the clue very interesting and I loved the twist. Awesome mystery! Wow!

Ellery’s dad keeps finding him murder victims. Ellery would probably rather just have a Gameboy......
There’s usually a preliminary clue embedded in the setup exposition so pay attention. It’s possible a clever defense attorney would find Ellery’s explanation allows for a trace of reasonable doubt. Find out for yourself!

Another day another murder

Cute if simplistic mystery good for occupying ten minutes of time. Narration is a bit old school.

Cute mystery

The Reindeer Clue was another good Ellery Queen short listen. I like the audience participation, it adds a bit of fun to the story. Traber Burns did another good job of narrating.

Remember him? He was the kid who knew everything about everything and solved kid-sized mysteries like "who stole the peanut butter sandwich?" Even when the tale is longer than this one, Ellery Queen stories tend to remind me of Encyclopedia Brown. Ellery plays the bright young boy who knows and sees everything, helping out his well-meaning but somewhat obtuse father in the execution of his duties as a Detective Inspector. And I don't mind. As is the case here, the mystery is always intriguing and the performance top-notch.

Not the cleverest plot but pretty good and makes an enjoyable listen pity Audible doesn't allow short reviews of short books

short but sweet
