This could have been an amazing series, but there's ZERO emotion in the AI's voice. if the author is reading this: You could easily get $17 for each book if you just get someone on TikTok to narrate You deserve better than this AI Narration this is your baby (book series). I know AI narration is new and they probably are giving you a good deal on it for being one of the first people to use it but you're not going to get the following you deserve. it's an amazing story! it's so deep and hot, but I can't tell because the AI makes me feel like I'm listening to a recipe being read. Either way, 5 stars for this spicy space age sci-fi book.

The AI reading fell flat for me. There was not enough inflection to move the story along. The voice didn’t change for the male characters versus the female characters versus an angry character versus an aroused character. It was all just a matter of fact, reading of the story.

As for the story, it started out rather interesting but the relationship between the alien, and the Earth woman felt forced. I couldn’t buy that they were so strongly attracted to each other, because there was nothing really that set them apart.

I read the first book, but I’m not going to finish the box set.
