Once more we catch up with the delightful goings-on in the fictitious 44 Scotland Street from Alexander McCall Smith.
With customary charm and deftness, Alexander McCall Smith gives us another installment in this popular series, now running in its ninth season in The Scotsman. Anything could happen to Bertie and the gang....

On a sidenote, since the last installment of this series, I discovered Outlander and spent several months listening to book one to eight (Davina Porter is as superb a narrator as Robert Ian Mackenzie in my opinion, and Diana Gabaldon has created a most lovable group of characters as well.) This has deepened my understanding of this series of course, and Scotland would be on my bucket list now, if I had one ;-)
As great and delightful as ever!
