Publisher's summary

HEROES CAN COME FROM ANYWHERE. Mike seems to fail at everything, feels useless, and is finally sinking into despair. To avoid dragging his wife into the abyss he sees before him, he leaves her, planning to separate from his former life. Knocked out during a fight in an alley, he wakes up to find himself in a strange new world -- a world that desperately needs him. Renamed Richard, a legendary hero from their histories, he must try to save an entire world by finding the effective, powerful man that he was meant to be.

From a fan of fantasy.

Growing up on Tolkien and D&D this is a beautiful mixture of a High Fantasy novel and campaign notes turned into a story. I can't wait to see move books like this from Dr. Quist and Dr. Q Ryder.

Audio voice box? It’s just wierd

Not my cup of tea and quite frankly story sucks. Too much skipping and too much npc lines. It’s just not natural progression or story.
