Publisher's summary

This guide will guide you to the right knowledge about all the historical details you need to know about Nero, Caligula, Hadrian, Commodus, Constantine the Great, Caracalla, Marcus Aurelius, Julius Caesar, Augustus, and others. Some were pure evil, abusive, and sheer dictators with their own self-interest that was their only focus. Others had the best intentions for the empire. These emperors left their mark on the people, the history of the entire empire, and the cultural influence the Romans had on us.

Very nice and interesting

This is an interesting book. The emperors of Rome all lived different lives. Some good, some evil. We have probably all heard of Caesar and Augustus, or Nero or Caligula. But others have been well presented in this book as well. It is something more people should know about.

Whoa

Great information. The narrative was good, and the way the facts were all lined up was professional. This author really did his research. It's a good book to learn about some of the most (and some less important) important emperors of Rome.

Great book

You can learn a lot from this book. Not only that, but it's kind of entertaining the way it was narrated.

Interesting subject

It's an interesting principle, the whole premise of this book. You don't typically see that in other books. And that's why it can use an individual like me to compose a few positive things about it.

Worst narration ever 🤮

Narrator sounded like a whiny brat. Can’t pronounce words and repeats words. Unbearable....really awful

Poor narration

Not only was the audio recording quality awful, but the narrator sounds like a teenager and struggles with the pronunciation of the names. Couldn't get through it.

too textbook

I felt as though it was an opportunity for the narrator to practice his Latin it seemed unstructured and haphazard. it was as though they found a reference guide to the emperors and just began reading from it without any editing thus making it very confusing for the listener
