About this listen

Could a marriage alliance meant for peace now bring about a war?

When circumstances force the fae to relinquish their princess to the dragon shifters, they will do anything to get her back, even if it means starting a war.
Wisteria has spent her life locked away in a castle. She’s considered too precious to risk—a deity too invaluable to release from her cage. Stellan has spent his life dreading this marriage, but his fate was decided long ago.
Falling in love was supposed to be impossible. But what if there could be a love more rare than even soulmates? And what if Wisteria was never meant to belong to the fae?

The Royal Marriage Alliance is a clean romantic urban fantasy set in a world with dragon shifters, fae, elves, and other supernatural creatures.

A very good story. I’m a sucker for happy endings. I just didn’t like the reader 😁 but overall I like the story.

The story was good. All questions were answered and conclusions to all conflicts. The people were interesting. There was a lot of politics being discussed. Still, there was family and love.

As for the narration…at the time I listened to it, it was AI generated. Initially I wanted to stop the book because the accent did not fit my perception of the character I wanted to read about. I pushed through and enjoyed the story. It this is going to be the norm, perhaps they could allow us to select between two or three accents.

Listening to the AI narration was interesting. There’s not a lot of emotion and inflection in the reading. But it’s still pretty enjoyable. This is a great read for in Indy author.

Book is good. But the Narrator makes it impossible to listen to this. Sounds like someone is just reading it….. an AI reader would be just as good.

Could not with the Narrator
