About this listen

Acclaimed best-selling Western author William W. Johnstone returns to the action-packed life of quick-draw Frank Morgan.

Harvard-educated businessman Conrad Browning is desperate enough to hire his estranged father, Frank, to neutralize the trouble plaguing his New Mexico railroad line. As the unlikely pair rides to the remote railroad site, they outshoot vengeful bushwhackers and hostile Apaches. But just as Frank and his son begin to bond, a criminal mastermind designs an evil plan to kill them both. And when a gorgeous young lady stumbles into their camp one night, they soon find themselves under her disarming spell.

Another great Frank Morgan story

The story is a typical Frank Morgan story that George Guidall reads. It keeps the listeners attention.

Captivating Story.

Let me start with the narrator. I think his voice is an excellent one for western. But I just don’t love his style of reading. I might be being a little critical here though because I do think he does a very good job. If I could give 4.5 or 4.75 stars I would.
Now to the book. The story was well written and held my interest through each chapter. My only complaint is the overly vulgar details included while describing one of the female characters throughout the book. It wasn’t necessary and ruined the book in that sense. Not quite sure why authors feel compelled to add perversion to their books.

Frank, Conrad,& the Ladies

I enjoyed this book. I was nice to see Conrad reach out to Frank for help with his problem with the trouble on his railroad spear. During the contact Frank got into some gunfights and a mysterious female entered their life's.
