Publisher's summary

From the author of the landmark Secret Teachings of All Ages comes two classic works on the mysterious origins and unique mission of America: The Secret Destiny of America and America’s Assignment with Destiny.

Focusing on often-forgotten moments in history, Manley P. Hall proposes that there was a Great Plan put forth 1,000 years before our nation’s founding: Humanistic and mystical organizations wished for the continent to be the location for an experiment in self-government and religious freedom.

As one of the leading esoteric scholars of the 20th century, Hall offers an intriguing view of our past, discussing everything from the symbolism of the Great Seal of the US to the prophecy announced at George Washington’s birth.

Christopher ColumNOT!

Worth the listen for the Christopher Columbus chapter alone. Between that and the stuff about the Greeks it had my attention.

While this is a short book it has a tremendous wealth of knowledge. I really enjoyed hearing the history and full of details that it provided

Really good!

Such great information. The story is detailed but not drawn out. An eye opener for sure. Bible references to back up what is being said. I really enjoyed the history in this book. The only thing I didn’t like is that many repeated lines.

Great book, terrible narrator

I’m not sure why, but there are many audio errors throughout this audiobook in which the author keeps repeating sentences. At first, it wasn’t a big deal until it started becoming more noticeable to the point of annoyance.

If you’re going to record an audio for a book, do your due diligence and prepare the audiobook before hand

Overall, the book itself is great. It just needs a better narrator.

Many edit left in

Retakes and edits were left in. Lots of them. Clearly the final edit did not happen properly.

Good content, poor execution.

Very Interesting Book, Sloppy Recording

Interesting occult background of America tying it from modern Freemasonry agenda (for good and I'll) and going back to Plato and his Atlantis prophecies. very concise, generally well delivered, but the recorder left multiple takes of different passages he forgot to edit out. Not a deal killer, but it's a bit sloppy.
