About this listen
SECOND PRIZE: Firebird Awards - Speculative Fiction - 2024
On the verge of finishing their Grail Mission, Brook and the Venusians' encounter with the Time Police reveal a dangerous anomaly forcing them to head to 1975 to determine whether the cause is a young Donald Trump, George Bush or Bill Clinton. Or maybe someone else. But their attempt to solve the mystery only leads to further disruptions which threaten to destroy the very fabric of space/time and their cool threads... or lead to Earth's conquest by reptilians ... or even worse.

Verified Purchase Book 3 of the Time Wanderer Series is the best one yet! Hopping around through time with his Venusian friends, our hero lands in northern California back in the ‘70s, only to be sent on a mission that takes him back to the Garden where he encounters a more real Adam and Eve than any biblical telling. The hippie atmosphere created around Mt Shasta and much mystical lore of the time was especially fun for me, having been part of that scene mys look forward to further adventures if a Book 4 is in the works, and I hope it is!

This is the best of the trilogy. I couldn't put it down. The main characters go back to the 70s. Really a great spoof on 70s lifestyle, right down to the Harvey Wallbangers, discos and gurus. Then they head back to the Garden of Eden to find that Adam is a dumb, arrogant chauvinist and Eve is kick-ass brilliant. I loved the "Vending Machine of Good and Evil" that was placed there by aliens. Lots of interesting stuff to stretch your mind
