About this listen
“I need to stay here with you, Karim, because my parents will never accept me back! But I have self-respect and I will never crawl for your love again!” (Aysha Abit Esmail Al-Harbi).
The young Aysha Abit Esmail Al-Harbi was promised in marriage at an early age to her distant cousin, Sheikh Karim Abin Al-Harbi. The young woman was raised in Alcaz to be his wife and this caused a love for her future husband to blossom in her heart from an early age. This love was watered with many dreams in the heart of the eighteen-year-old girl. One of these dreams was that as soon as she turned eighteen, her fiancé would come to arrange the wedding and after they were married, he would take her to live with him in London. Where she was the principality’s international relations officer and CEO of the Alcaz Oil Company in the West. However, she saw all this fairy tale that she created in her imagination fall apart, with the visit of her fiancé to Alcaz and after an act without thinking she found herself trapped in a marriage of convenience to save her honor before the traditions of her people.
Sheikh Karim Abin Al-Harbi, the youngest brother of the Alcaz dynasty, had a heart divided between East and West. He loved Alcaz, but he decided to settle in the Western world and only visit his homeland on vacation. He was a successful man, with the positions of CEO and International Relations that he held in London, in addition to his reputation as a conqueror. After all, what woman wouldn't want to be the wife or girlfriend of a young, handsome and rich sheik? However, marriage was not part of his plans any time soon; he was happy with the life he led. Thus, he became furious when he found himself involved in an incident that forced him to marry his distant cousin. A cousin that he didn't even recognize as his fiancée.
So, Karim and Aysha will have to get married and share the same roof, in a life full of barbs, between a fiancé who humiliated her by making it clear that she would never be his real wife, that this marriage would not be consummated, and a young woman who swore never to grovel for her cousin's love again.
