Lars Bonner rode into the little town of Rocky Canyon with the bodies of two outlaws tied across their horses. He is also returning the money the two had robbed from the town's bank. The town doesn't have a sheriff. It seems the last one to hold that positon left town without so much as a goodbye. At first it seems he will have nowhere to deliver the corpses in order to collect his bounty. However, the mayor who is also the banker agrees to sign the required affidavits. The mayor isn't concerned why the bodies are mangled. He's more interested in getting Bonner to accept the job of sheriff. Aware Bonner will continue to pursue his profession as a bounty hunter even if he accepts the sheriff's positon, he doesn't know that on a full moon, Bonner doesn't rely on his weapons to capture his quarry.

The Weird Wild West
He didn't mean to become Sheriff, but then again he didn't mean to be a werewolf either. But if he is smart he can clean up the town, make a little money, and manage to keep his secret safe. Louis La'mour meets The Wolfman in a great horror-western.

good western
worth a listen. story brings old west n werewolf to the ears were it makes since n you can get lost in it . if made a 2nd I would get it to hear rest of his story

THE SHERIFF AND THE WEARWOLF
This is a different type of genre than I normally listen to. If you like werewolves I think you'll love This. I liked the story just not the werewolf parts. But I'm glad I tried it. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review. S.W. Salzman did a great job narrating this book. He has a good western voice

Interesting title
At first not sure but but after starting to listen I could not stop. Think Cowboys, a western town, a crooked rancher and then a sheriff well I bet you are asking were there Werewolf the sheriff/bounty hunter.
The story was well written and told very well and i did not find any section that seemed to be rushed. The author and the narrator brought each and ever character alive and wove a story around each one and in the end tied ever character together were you felt you knew them.

A werewolf?
Enjoyed it. it was a very interesting read. Narration was wonderful. I Will listen to more of their books.
