About this listen

Beneath every veneer, beneath the person who is you, there are secrets, never acknowledged, never told nor shared. It is your sexuality, and mine, a compendium of dark influences, of seeds sown, of lost fleeting moments that run us wild, ragged. Ever constant, we deny our nature of want, desire, guilt, shame. Ever constant, we succumb to the subterranean pull of pleasure and pain. It is here where the story begins. Welcome. Fiction Literary Fiction Women's Fiction

Lots of sex and philosophic truth

I really liked Linda Lavid’s style of writing. She painted pictures in my mind that were vivid and familiar. The sex scenes were tasteful and memorable. I was especially pleased to find myself in deep thoughts about my belief system and how women in our culture are taught to be critical of themselves for sexual acts that men on the other hand, praise themselves for. This Novella inspired me to think deeply about the differences in values that men and women have in my world and how I have a strong need to redefine my opinion of myself and what I believe about sex, marriage, and self image. I look forward to reading more of what Linda Lavid has written.
