Publisher's summary

There are some books on magick that teach it purely as spiritual advancement. There are others that teach it as a form of psychological self-help that effects only inner change. While magick can and should be both of these, it is something more.

The Sorcerer's Secrets is about success in practical magick; it is a book that aims at change in both the outer and inner worlds. Beyond a mere spell book or training course, The Sorcerer's Secrets is a field manual on successful sorcery written by a professional sorcerer.

The first part of the book lays out the qualities, concepts, and exercises necessary to attempt practical magick. The second part presents clear strategies for tackling almost any type of issue with sorcery.

In this book, you will learn how to do the following:

  • Attack problems from multiple angles, not just by casting a spell.
  • Blend mundane and magickal action to ensure success.
  • Figure out whether what you are doing is working. Fix it if it isn't.
  • Go beyond readings into magickal intelligence-gathering.
  • Influence the minds of other people.
  • Work most effectively on behalf of others.

The Sorcerer's Secrets will help rescue the art of magick from those who have ignored, downplayed, or just outright denied the existence of practical sorcery in favor of arcane titles, intangible results, and fantasy attainments.

Excellent!

It’s wonderful to have more occult books on Audible. Jason Miller includes many practical applications for practitioners today. I have gone back to it multiple times already.

what?

The narrators mispronunciation and misuse of several words is very distracting. It's almost condescending at times as well.

Must have

This ‘field guide’ should be on every sorcerer’s shelf. It bridges an essential gap between classic texts and presents the information in an exceptional and integrated manner.

Concise, Informative, and Useful

Jason Miller sets a rare precedent: creating a book on modern magic that focuses on the application and techniques for fledgling magic users to employ their craft without focusing on any single occult philosophy. The Reader/Listener is given an extensive overview of rituals, tricks, and useful advice on how to utilize any kind of magic in a results focused manner. A welcome breath of fresh air for grimoires and instruction manuals that expect you to become a devoted Kabbalist, Wiccan, or Thelemite.

The section on Bune alone is worth it

This is a great book for beginners and refreshing for those who have read several books on Magick. I enjoyed every section of this book and its focus on practical Magick. The section on Bune alone was worth the purchase because Bune is great to work with and gets results. Just follow the instructions and your instincts and you'll be happy with the results.
