Mounting excitement set in the Antarctic!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would heartily recommend this audiobook to a friend. It was very unusual, being set in the Antarctic and combined all the excitement of a beautifully scripted adventure with a love story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The heroine, because she had all the human frailties, such as setting out on such an adventure without realising she was pregnant(?) but she was very strong, remaining ather post, with the possibility of being trapped in the antarctic over winter and having to give birth.

Which scene was your favorite?

The finale when her hero pilots her to safety in the iced up helicopter and then has to deliver the baby himself!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Wonderment.

Any additional comments?

Loved it to bits and am sorry I am coming to the end of Rosie Thomas' books...
