About this listen
This is a story from the Tales of Irish Myths collection.
Three key stories from the mists of Irish legends retold by Benedict Flynn. It is a mysterious world that this selection of stories from the treasure house of Irish myths describes. Here, the line between the fantastical and the real is blurred: mortals and immortals lead entwined lives.

Dermot Kerrigan’s authentic and lively Irish lilt lends energy and authenticity to Benedict Flynn’s enchanting retelling of the story of mythological Irish hero Finn Mac Cool, from his father Cumhall’s abduction of Finn’s soon-to-be-mother, the druid Muirne, to Finn’s valiant, action-filled exploits with the Fianna, his band of fearsome warriors tasked with protecting the high king of Ireland.
Those with an interest in the adventures of this hallowed folk hero will find it hard to stop listening to this absorbing audiobook steeped in ancient Celtic tradition.

A great reading of the tale.
I loved the narration, the flow and voices the narrator does, and of course the stories/story itself is really good. It's actually quite soothing, enough so that i fell asleep to it upon my second listen. I recommend it!
