About this listen

Christian, quiet and dedicated to learning, is focused on putting a rambunctious school into order. He's also determined to check off another task on his list: finding a wife. When he suffers an accident that puts him out of commission for a few weeks, Ruby steps in. Her teaching style and personality clash with his, and he wonders if all his hard work will be undone.

Ruby thinks Christian is stuffy and decides to inject some fun into teaching the students. However, Christian can't keep his nose out of her business‚ both personal and professional. Relieved to be free of his overbearing hovering when her tenure ends, she's shocked when he makes her an unexpected offer, one that would solve several of her problems.

A slow start, a nice predictable story. I enjoyed listening to this story while I was working in my sewing room.

I'm really enjoying this series. I only wish they were numbered like the others. Kathleen Fuller is a talented author and Christina Moore is one of my favorite narrators.

This was a good book . Some subject matter that isn't talked about a lot in Amish books . Clean fun book.

Enjoyed

I enjoyed the book because it had different twist than most Amish books. It was almost comical as the bashful couple tried to figure out about life itself. I definitely will read more of Kathleen Fuller's books, plus Christina Moore is a true professional and makes the book come alive.

it was a nice story, it ended quite abruptly though.
I have to say, the narrator was annoying at times with a few characters. specifically that of Christian.
