Bone Chilling

Gordon proves his constant strive for mastery is advancing by leaps and bounds. The same feeling as playing Hinerlands "The Long Dark' with just a dash of supernatural horror to keep your head moving on your shoulders...what's around the next corner?? It's not just wolves!😂

Super suspenseful tale for a winter's evening.

Ian Gordon is the perfect narrator for a tale such as this. This isn’t so much horror as it is a tale of the weird. It is a strange tale indeed, and ideal for the holiday season. The narrator of the tale is doing so by reading pages of a journal that he found secreted away after his father had passed away. Each day of the journal relates a series of uncanny events which have began happening in the village and intertwines these happenings with history and lore of the past to create an atmosphere of suspense that slowly builds until the culmination of the story. I found myself thinking ahead about what was going to happen next. As much as I thought I knew what was going to happen I must admit I didn’t really and was both surprised and satisfied with the outcome. This is another great addition to the Horrorbabble series. Mr. Gordon has quickly become one of my favorite narrators and has proven an equal skill in his writing and story telling abilities. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a suspenseful tale with great narration. I’m sure I will listen to this again and again especially around the holidays. This is a short story (just under 2 hours) and a perfect tale for a cold winter’s evening.
