About this listen
Inspired by the true story of the author’s ancestors, this enthralling WWII novel tells of the Kisch family’s heart-wrenching struggle against Nazi oppression.
When the Nazis invade the Netherlands in 1940, the Jews of Amsterdam know nothing of the Final Solution and the Holocaust. As the measures imposed by the cruel SS become ever more repressive, sister and brother, Rachael and Hendrik, join the Dutch Resistance.
Meanwhile, their parents, Franck and Elizabeth, strive to keep their younger brother, Hannes, safe, but time is against them all, as every day more and more Jews are being deported to unknown camps in Eastern Europe. Will the family be able to stay together and survive?
Listeners moved by Schindler’s List, The Tattooist of Auschwitz, and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas will be gripped. Download today!

Over the next year, more shots would be fired in what would become the last major mob war in New York's crime-soaked history—and one of the bloodiest. The war ended with Orena's 1992 arrest and conviction for racketeering.

Story
With NFL scouts watching my every move, the last thing I should be thinking about is Quinton Toro, my awkwardly sexy, genius tutor who makes me think about breaking my headboard. I might fantasize about everything about him at night, but I’ve worked too hard for too long to slip up now. But if it came down to having him or a career in the NFL, which would I choose? The answer should be obvious, right? Then why can’t I get the lustful way he looks at me out of my mind? I might be in trouble.

Story
Jack Steele survived the first Gulf War, Bosnia, and his time as a UN peacekeeper. As a captain and tank commander, he saw the dark side of war. Two UN officials have gone missing. They were last seen in the Tumen Triangle. A 324-mile river that borders Russia, China, and North Korea, it’s a place few Westerners have heard of or understand. It would be a prize-winning story if he could crack it. Sometimes fate puts a person where they need to be - and then he saw the child fall beneath the ice. When Steele rescued the boy, it was the first domino to fall.

Making a place for yourself in a world where you don’t belong takes courage. So does moving in with a warlock. Especially one who is a cauldron of seething anger on his worst days…half-mad on his best…who is thinking, perhaps, of killing you. Waterspell tells the story of the lost traveler, Carin, who is drawn into the schemes of a hot-tempered, emotionally damaged wizard. Does he view her as nothing more than an expendable weapon in his fight to save his world from lethal alien plagues? Or will Lord Verek find himself wavering when it comes time to dispose of his water-sylph?
