About this listen

Selene Harper awoke in Death Valley with no memory of who - or what - she is. Capable of reading thoughts with a single touch, she’s unnerved by her ability, until it warns her of imminent danger. When an alluring man comes to her aid, neutralizing the threat, Selene can’t read his mind...but the stranger’s touch sets off a series of events that finds Selene a captive of the mysterious Glacial Blood Pack.

Shape-shifter Brayden Dillion, a deadly pack assassin, can only become a beta if he finds his mate. A miracle that seems less and less likely...until a favor for his mother puts him on a collision course with Selene. With help from the pack, they discover she’s a preciously rare breed of shifter who can absorb the form of any creature she touches. Brayden knows she’s meant to be his, but mating Selene is impossible unless she learns to control her immense powers.

Or until those powers are taken from her....

Welcome to the Amazon best-selling Glacial Blood series, a world of shifters and witches, magic and mayhem, unforgivable lies and unbreakable love. A world where family is born not only through blood, but bond. With plenty of the threats to come - and a secret that remains untold.

Interesting twist on shifters

I love a good shifter story! This one had an intriguing twist that I found refreshing. I did think it was a bit shorter than I wanted, a bit more depth (not action, but development) would have been welcome but I'm not willing to take off a star for that. I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Slight cliffhanger to draw interest for the next book, but nothing too frustrating.

My first book by both author and narrator but I'll definitely look for more from both.

Fun, quick paranormal romance

This was a different twist on the shifter world than I have listened to before. It was short and felt a little rushed. The action was good and the storyline very interesting. Overall, I enjoyed the narrator. Both author and narrator were new to me. Ends on a bit of a cliffhanger. I will definitely be waiting for the next one to come out.

Enjoyed the story

Really enjoyed the characters and the story. Definitely a bigger story arc that has me hoping the next book if not all ready out, will be out soon. I had a few instances of repeated words/phrases that I’m not sure were my phone or the actual audio file.

Awesome

This was a very very good book, I enjoyed it for the beginning to the end the only thing that you did not mention in the book was how old was the young lady, we know she was made but they did not give a timeframe of what she Her age is going to be

unique shifter character!

New to me author, Anna Edwards and narrator, AmandaDay!

I love shifter/PNR and this book had many aspects I appreciated in this genre.
I enjoyed the basic storyline and I liked all the characters but was hoping for more world building.

Amanda Day does a great job narrating this book and I would definitely listen to another book she narrates, especially if its dual narration. I was missing a male voice for this book.

Brayden is need of a break when he goes to visit his mother, never realizing it's the one place he would find his mate. What he finds is beautiful and shy Selene who works with his mom. She's also something he's never come across in the shifter world...
Not knowing what to do after something happens between them, he takes her to his pack leader.

This series has a lot of potential and if given the opportunity to listen to the next book I would certainly see if there's more world building.

Good start

Good start on a new series. Has a few new twists and different story line than other paranormal shifter stories which keeps the reader interested. I would, however, advise adding a bit more "meat" to the character development in future stories as well as a little more description to surroundings, etc......something that helps the reader's imagination to picture the story unfolding in their minds. It's okay as it is but has the potential to be so much more. The same goes for Ms. Day's narration. Her narration is good in that the listener can differentiate between the male and female characters and she does not just "read" the story but injects feeling into it.... but the potential is there to be so much more. She's a little "youthful" sounding which makes her characters appeal to a younger set of readers but the sexual nature of the story would not be for the YA (young adult/teenage/pre-teen) crowd . Also, she pauses oddly throughout. As with most narrators, it takes a chapter or two to get used to their voices and how they read but her pauses threw me off for a bit. Distracting, but not enough to make me stop listening. All in all, I enjoyed the story and would happily read/listen to the rest of the series.

Well done!

Great Shifter Romance with a twist

This was a new to me author and narrator and I loved them both. Anna wrote a great story full of mystery, romance and a little action. Selena and Brayden went through so much to be able to touch each other. Everyone wanted Selenes mystery power. Amanda did awesome narrating this story. She had to play so many male and female characters. I can’t wait for book 2

Unique, Entertaining and Hot

My hat goes off to Anna Edwards. The Touch of Snow is a well written book with phenomenal characters. The characters are well developed with just the right amount of action, magic, and sex. I really enjoyed watching the main female lead (Selene Harper) go from meek to the mouse that roared and took names. The story is unique and entertaining, and I just couldn't put it down. I had to know more about Ms. Harper and who or what she was, and I was certainly not disappointed. Amanda Day, as the narrator, was a breath of fresh air she gave the characters life and a purpose. I highly recommend this book because I can't wait to start book two.
I received this book for free upon my request, and I am glad I did. I am leaving my voluntary, honest, unbiased review of my own free will.
