About this listen
Mischief and magic abound when the two wicked witches of the magical forest, Badlot Barbara and Rotten Rena, decide to open up their very own broomstick shop in the middle of the forest. Of course witches from miles around pay a visit and cause mayhem while test driving their broomsticks. However, the Treebobs come up with a most cunning plan to put the two wicked witches out of business with quite dizzying results.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Treebobs and the Dizzy Broomsticks to be better than the print version?
I have actually got the first edition printed version which my children love but this audio book really brings it to life Badlot Barbara and Rotten Rena are just outrageous and so funny and the sound effects are stunning. My children also loved the audio illustration which being honest is much better than those on the printed books.Who was your favorite character and why?
Its usually Rotten Rena but in this Badlot Barbara steals the show with her tuneless warblings as she puts up the signs for their shopHave you listened to any of Lindsay Abbott’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes we have all listened to the Treebob's series. We just think she is amazing and my little girl Jessica keeps taking off Rotten Rena. Just love this story and all the voices.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Just made us all laugh. One of the funniest moments is when Vixen Vera pulls her wedged head out of the chimney which sounds like a cork and then starts chasing Rena and Barbara with her broomstickAny additional comments?
Lovely simple childrens story and the title music gives it an old fashioned magic feel that reminded me of stories from my own childhood. I do think that the wicked witches steal the show in this one thoughAbsolutely Fabulous Witches in an enchanted forest
