About this listen
A strange glowing light, an ominous green mist, and deadly secrets unearthed. Chased by the military, a woman races against time to save her family and expose the truth.
A calm, peaceful night for Sarah Maine and her family turns sinister as swirling tendrils of a mysterious green vapor descend over the valley. Terrified when her husband doesn’t return from work, Sarah desperately begins searching for him in the hills outside London. Instead, she discovers a lethal conspiracy.
An engaging and fast-paced thriller, Eileen Thornton’s The Trojan Project follows Sarah as she finds herself embroiled in a military pursuit, a chemical weapons cover-up, and a frame-up that puts her family in mortal danger.
As she attempts to separate truth from falsehood, she realizes that no one is quite what they seem, but will she find a way to evade treachery from all sides in time to save her family?

A dead man walks into a police station. He tells a tale - bizarre as it is grotesque - of kidnap and organ harvesting. John Baden's story of being held prisoner for 12 years sounds far-fetched - but it's all about to get much, much stranger. DI Ben Westphall has been given the case because of his background in MI6. He also has a knack for getting inside people's heads and seeing things others would miss. Westphall is no ordinary detective, and this is no ordinary case.

Story
An unbearably tense novel of revenge, murder, bereavement and the destructive force of passion. The single-mother families of the isolated community under the shadow of the Pyderhorn, Bergen's greatest mountain, are being terrorised by a teenage gang. But teenage violence is nothing compared to what awaits detective Varg Veum when he gets to know the blue-eyed Wenche Andersen.

Story
A shocking double-murder scene greets Detective Inspector Philip Brennan when he is called to a flat in Colchester. Two women are viciously cut open and laying spread-eagled, one tied to the bed, one on the floor. The woman on the bed has had her stomach cut into and her unborn child is missing. But this is the third time Phil and his team has seen such an atrocity. Two other pregnant women have been killed in this way and their babies taken from them. No one can imagine what sort of person would want to commit such horrible crimes.

Graphic
This is the kind of block that lets you see every gory graphic and colorful picture. It puts you there, you are part of it. This Is a story that you see happening today, it is amazing you just don’t know what he’s going to come up with in this book. I simply loved it. Great job to the author and the narrator.

The author's descriptions of what happens to these victims are not only graphic but create a mental picture in the mind of the reader/ listener. Good and clear narration

Very entertaining little novel.
Would recommend this book to those looking for fresh new characters. I could almost smell the grassy fields described in this novel.

Good Story
Setting in a farming community and London , a chemical warfare, and no antidote. Sara see the strange light and with her children and a police officer she is running to London. With unbelieving by many will she make it, or is a personal thing just for her. Have read other books by author and this too is a winner. You are there, settings and what are happening is real and close. A definite read, enjoyed the narration by audio also.
