This isn't the first Children's book that I've listened to, but it is one that I really wanted to see the illustrations while I was listening to it!
The Cowboy receives mystical dreams that lead him to the 12 princesses. With additional mystical help, he discovers the secret of how their shoes become worn each night! (I'm curious how they stay awake during the day!) :O
This is a cute fairy tale. I think, in written format, great for younger kids/toddlers because they always ask a lot of questions and the illustrations would help - or you could pause and discuss their questions as you're listening to it. Perfect for probably 5-6 and up. Really an adorable little story.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Twelve Dancing Princesses to be better than the print version?
No.What did you like best about this story?
I liked the variation from another version I've read of the 12 Dancing Princesses. It's always fun to hear other versions of tales.Have you listened to any of Emma Lysy’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Unfortunately, I have not had that opportunity...yet. Ms. Lysy was a joy to hear. At times, the "loud breaths" in between dialogue was a bit much, but overall her performance was enjoyable.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No.Any additional comments?
