About this listen
Overcome anxiety about body image and disordered thoughts in just 10 simple steps!
From body dysmorphia to anxiety and stress, having a poor mindset regarding food and your body can make it hard to live day to day.
But what if you didn’t have to live that way? What if you could look in the mirror and actually like what you see, without having to change what your body looks like.
Imagine not feeling self-conscious every time you go out… just putting something on without obsessing over how it looks on you… or not having to second-guess whether to have that dessert or not.
Sounds like a dream, right? But guess what? It's real, and you can get there with just 10 easy steps.
Inside this guide to overcoming anxiety and the mindsets that lead to eating disorders, you’ll discover:
- How to recognize and come to terms with body dysmorphia–acknowledging your challenges is the first step to recovery
- How to unravel the webs of negativity that keep you trapped in a cycle of self-loathing
- How to identify and handle your triggers so that your life is never ruled by them again
- The power duo that will lead you to an anxiety-free love for yourself–working on these two can change your outlook on life, and your view of yourself
- A strong guide to help you embrace self-love and self-care, and how setting boundaries is key to your recovery
- The 411 on purpose and resilience–how these can help you bounce back from your struggles with your body image
- How to form a whole new mindset, one embodied by body positivity and neutrality… the way you’re SUPPOSED to feel!
And much more.
With these 10 steps, you’ll unlock everything you need to embrace your body (and yourself) as you are, no changes needed.

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

A Positive Book Full of Hope and Healing
This book was a great read. It is such a positive book and brings to light the often much misunderstood problems of disordered eating which are pervasive throughout our society. While eating disorders, negative body image and anxiety are common in our society (thanks to unrealistic media), etc., this book works to create a path forward so that anyone dealing with these things will have specific steps they can take. It's also a great book if you're trying to understand where someone in your life is coming from when they are struggling with these issues - so that you can be a better friends, parent, or co-worker to them. I definitely recommend this book and found it helpful. It deepened my understanding of these issues as well as gave me a specific toolset for dealing with body image anxiety and eating disorders.

Challenge Yourself
This book is a helpful guide for anyone struggling with how they feel about their body. It offers simple steps to overcome negative thoughts and anxieties about appearance and food.
I found this book really comforting because it made me feel like I wasn't alone in my struggles. It helped me understand why I felt the way I did about my body and gave me practical tips to start feeling better.
What I liked most about it was how easy the steps were to follow. They didn't require me to make big changes all at once, which can be overwhelming. Instead, they were small things I could do everyday to gradually improve my mindset.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. It's a reassuring read that shows you that it's possible to change how you feel about yourself, one step at a time. Highly recommended!

Really helpful to create confidence in your body
Sometimes, it is a conversation, an event or sometimes an audiobook that helps us break through the fear, uncertainty and even shame of how we feel about our bodies. This is a good listen. It is a well-narrated book that helps to provide confidence around self-acceptance and realise that you are not alone. There is lots of great insight, tips and knowledge sharing, in a very friendly and engaging way, that will help anyone overcome their dysmorphia. There are some excellent sections on helping to identify and manage triggers, setting boundaries and self-love that will leave you with a more positive mindset and a better perspective on your body. Sometimes, that’s all it takes. A good audiobook
