The Ultimate Guide To Parenting Your Child With Autism is an excellent guide for caregivers who are parenting neurodivergent children. The underlying theme is compassion and respect while using tools and strategies to assist parents in helping their child continue to learn, grow, and make gains. Early intervention is essential with children who learn differently and the focus on the younger years is educationally essential. This is a phenomenal resource to support parents with their children. There are bonus resources throughout that allow you to choose what would best serve your needs. I love the different strategies and tips for preparing for a variety of situations to set up both children and parents and others interacting for success. It's easy to listen to and approachable. Each chapter is well labeledd and allows you to skip around and come back to what might be most helpful! I feel like to some extent every parent and child could benefit from this because emotional development and skills/tools are incredibly useful for everyone. That said, this book still gets into some of the more challenging situations and is well worth a listen no matter what your background!
