About this listen

Ana

Marriage was my sentence—my family's shield against the Voronins' wrath.

I played along. Took the vows. Wore the ring.

Then I vanished. Living with Dima Voronin—cold, lethal, and calculating—was never an option.

But now, with nowhere left to run, I find myself back in his world.

Back under his control. Back in his bed.

And the way he watches me now? Like he's finally claiming what's his.

I should flee before I burn.

Yet I wonder—was I ever truly free?

Dima

Two years ago, my bride walked away. I let her go.

I needed war, not a wife.

Now Ana returns, trailing chaos and enemies, and one look confirms what I've denied too long— She's mine to protect.

Mine to punish. Mine to keep. When her enemies paint a target on my back, only Ana can clear my name.

She claims she never loved me. But if that's true... why does she stay?

It is Such a Shame when Authors opt to use such a Beautiful Cover Model for what could have been a really great story for an audiobook listen, Only to have the Story be Cheapened by a Virtual Voice Narration for their book .

I Really Wanted to listen to this book.
It had Such potential, But
The Virtual Voice had Such A Disconnect to me as a Listener.

Then it threw me off. It would Say Chapter 3 then Chapter 2 right after ! It didn't seem to know what chapter it was on.

Yea. I'm sure the paperback version of this book would be far better, or if it came out in dual narration for audiobooks , but this Virtual Voice is A Definitely A No.
And the real Shame is Again I Really wanted to listen to it , because it sounded like a great story .

So Disappointed. 😔

🥱 Virtual Voice 😔 Yuck 🤢 Sorry I Tried ,, I Just Couldn't Get Past it.
