Story
At the age of nine, I mistakenly touched someone else, giving him excruciating pain. Through that awful experience, I found out that a graze of my fingertips could torment any being with dragon blood. Because I was surrounded by them in my kingdom, my ability labelled me as cursed. I promised myself to never be shunned away again. That I had to be someone important for people to look up to. A crucial vote was coming up, and I would do anything to win it. Then I met them. Four hidrae princes, dragon-shifters of the most powerful kind, who were immune to my abilities.

Story
It's been thirty years since the Convergence, when the dimensions aligned and combined Earth and the world of Gwyllon, known in human mythology as “Underhill”. Elven castles and ancient ruins sprouted on vacant lots and merged with existing buildings, twisting into new structures. Roads and rail systems reformed, and after the rioting, starvation and death, agriculture sorted itself and food began to flow. A new government formed of elves and men arose, a society of human tech and elven magic. Cell phones and frost giants, race cars and elven steeds, dungeons and dragons… And ...

Azrael-angel of death, grim reaper, destroyer of worlds-has messed up. Instead of taking Molly Molloy's soul, he patted her on the back and saved her from choking on a chicken wing. Now this extraordinarily ordinary New York City waitress can see him. Talk to him. Touch him. Say 'no' to him. And make him question every assumption he has about what it means to live.

Story
Fae exist only in children’s stories, or so I thought. That was before a nightmarish creature of the Fae Realm dropped into my life. He claimed a seven-pointed mark on my skin signified my magical lineage, the bit of DNA my mother passed down. Days after I arrive in the Fae Realm, I’m thrown into a series of trials titled ‘The Devotion’. I must compete with demons, vampires, elves and more who want to claim their place at the future King’s side. I have no interest in this guy, but it doesn’t help that the King-to-be is a gorgeous, brooding fae.

Story
Valeria is a dreamer. Rífíor is a damaged male. And, through no fault of her own, she finds herself entangled in the throes of his hunger for retribution. But for him, there will be no distraction, even if she becomes a momentary detour, even if he breaks her heart. What he fails to anticipate is Valeria's fiery spirit and the countless ways she will make him pay for stealing her innocence—not to mention the tempest of strength he'll find impossible to bend to his will.

Liked the story
The digital narration is awful. I read the book and enjoyed it. You just can’t get the same feel of the story line with a voice that has no emotion to help the story flow

The unique story line and female role of survival
Loved the how the story wrapped up and all the pieces fell together. The intensity of the story line and character build up.

Strong female character
Love the story and the magic of balance needed for the world to be whole. The narration was pretty good even though there were very few parts that you could tell it was a computer generated voice, over all other is an excellent story

Powerful story
A compelling and powerful story with captivating characters that truly draw you in. While the AI voice is decent, it's not perfect, but still delivers well enough to enjoy the experience. I would love to see more additions to this story in the future—it has so much potential!

AI voice ruined it
The premise of this story is magical. Unfortunately the monotony of the cadence of the AI voice made it painful to read. I won’t be buying any more virtual voice Audible books.
