About this listen

Introducing the Wilder Brothers.

Ten sexy, built, slightly overprotective brothers.
Ten women who won’t back down in order to protect those they love.

When the Wilder brothers return home after leaving the military and the lives they fought to build, they’ll have to start from scratch and create roots when they had none before. They’re moving to a new state, a new town, and with a new set of problems they never expected. Falling in love along the way isn’t in the cards, but the Wilder brothers should know by now—you don’t choose your fate, fate chooses you.

Fantastic collection

I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This was a fantastic collection of the first part of The Wilder Brothers series. Each book reviewed below:

A Night for Us: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a fantastic novella. It was just a little teaser but it gave just enough insight into the characters that it made me want more. Eli and Alexis shared a beautiful moment and now I just can’t wait to see together them again.

One Way Back to Me:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a fantastic workplace romance. It was a really well written story with a great flow. The storyline was so entertaining and had me hooked from the beginning. The level of steam was just right for me. Eli and Alexis had amazing chemistry and I loved that even though the story mainly focused on them I also felt like I got to know a lot of the other characters and it made me excited for their stories.

Always the One for Me: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was an amazing second chance romance. It was a really well written story and it had a great pace. The storyline was entertaining and I loved the balance between the romance plot and the storyline surrounding the resort itself. Evan and Kendall had amazing chemistry and I loved them together. I just didn’t want the story to end.

The narration was fantastic for every story. All four narrators had fairly similar pace and I loved listening to them.

Love the Wilder Brothers!

A NIGHT FOR US
A garter, a bouquet and a dance.

This is a prequel of how Eli and Alexis meet. Their attraction to one another is instant until an unexpected proposal derails Eli's chance of getting to know Alexis. Even though they haven't seen each other for two years, the attraction is still there.

A great start and easy read for the start of Eli and Alexis' story.

ONE WAY BACK TO ME
What a great start to the Walker Brothers series! Retired military brothers trying to figure out how to live as civilians, starting with Eli. Now that they own a ranch with a winery and wedding venue, they are looking for a new wedding planner.

After her divorce and losing everything to her ex, Alexis applies for the wedding planner position at the Wilder Brothers' ranch. Little do they know, their chance encounter two years ago, will bring them together again.

An amazing second chance love story! Can't wait for Evan and Kendall's story!

ALWAYS THE ONE FOR ME
Evan and Kendall met, married and divorced and eight years later, she's the head chef at his family's resort. Being combative with each other is getting old and one night together changes everything. As they work toward reconciliation, one thing is certain, they are still in love with each other and seek the HEA they both deserve.

A second chance love story that includes a few twists and turns. The second book in the Wilder Brothers series doesn't disappoint.

Outstanding narration by all!

Can't wait for more Wilders

What a way to start off a new series. Former military, now retired, brothers running a winery and resort. A little surprising, yes, but it works for them. There are so many jobs and each has their own area of expertise. But living and working together is a lot of together time. I questioned their ability to do it with killing each other, but they managed in this first book. Although there is definitely something brewing with Evan and Elijah. But we will have to wait for their stories to know what is going on. I enjoyed Eli's story. He is the oldest brother and he takes the weight of the world on his shoulders to make sure they did the right thing. He is still trying to protect and care for his brothers even though they are adults and can take care of themselves.

Alexis made a bad decision two years ago and is now living with the consequences when her ex-husband comes calling. She doesn't know what he wants, she just wants him to leave. Even though he hurt her, she's starting to fall in love with Eli. It scares her to death after her previous experience, but she doesn't want to give it up. Will Eli be able to save her when trouble comes for his payment?

I'm still trying to figure out how Dodge, Dodge Jr and LJ figure in to this series. Something is brewing with them, but I'm not sure what it is.

Jacob Morgan and Emma Wilder are fabulous as always. I mean, how can you go wrong with either of them.

Always The One For Me:

Evan and Kendall. Wow. They have such a muddled history. Married. Divorced. Co-workers. Oh, yeah. And now dating. So much has happened in the years since Evan was injured. He's angry and is dealing with his guilt over surviving. In addition, he feels guilty for the way he left Kendall and never explained it to her. But his biggest guilty-ness is the fact that what happened to the wives of his two best friends could've happened to Kendall and he never wants that to happen to her.

Kendall is angry that Evan never explained anything to her. She doesn't understand what went wrong. And she gets really frustrated when he just walks away.

These two are still in love, but how will they overcome their coping mechanisms. OMG and her parents are completely oblivious to her accomplishments and feelings.

Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell are such a great pair of narrators for this book. Especially when Joe says his legendary keyword. That voice is just sinful. I felt Maxine handled this book really well. It's been awhile since I've listened to her so it was a nice reunion for me.

Full of emotions...

The Wilder Brothers Collection has One Way Back to You which is Eli's book, Always the One for You which is Evan's book and The Path to You which is Everett's book. I absolutely loved each of these Wilders Individually and together. I enjoyed seeing their paths to their HEA's. You get all the feels with these stories, its a roller coaster ride of emotions throughout. This is a must read collection.

Jacob Morgan, Emma Wilder, Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell did a great job bringing these characters to life.

Sugar sweet voice takes away from the story!

Once again I have to complain about the silly sweet, winey, girly, baby voice used for a lady who is supposed to be strong and bad-assed in her job. This takes away from any sense of confidence that the author was trying to show, other than that, Emma Wilder reads well and seems to get invested with her character but also tends to add a comma or pause where there should be none. I made it through the book but enjoyed the parts read by Maxine Mitchell much better. Storywise I would have liked to see the women in the stories have more confidence and belief in themselves. They all seemed to take on the same self-deprecating belief that everything is "Their fault", other than that you can enjoy the listen.
