Publisher's summary

Julius Wilson came from a hardworking family in Los Angeles and the owner of Wilson’s Jewelers, a successful jewelry company with franchises all over the country. On the way to his dreams, he lost a lot. His ex-wife, Vivian, who comes from a wealthy family, left him to raise their three daughters alone. He picked up the pieces of his life after she left and met his new wife, Carla, who helped him raise his daughters. He is proud that he created a legacy for his daughters Morgan, Paige, and Summer and raised them as Christians. They are known as the beautiful Wilson daughters. Everything is going fine until a robbery at one of his stores cause tension between him and his wife, and his daughters’ lives began to unravel. Julius does all he can to make things better for his family, but things continue to get worse. When the unthinkable happens, Julius is afraid his family will never be the same. Morgan Wilson is the oldest daughter and a successful fertility specialist. She is engaged to Douglas, a biochemist and excited to start a life with him. What is supposed to be one of the best days of her life, becomes the most humiliating, and Morgan doesn’t know how she will ever move on. Heartbroken, she makes a bad career move with her friend, Bianca, that seems doomed to fail because her heart isn’t in it. Paige Wilson, the middle daughter, is a successful actor on a high-rated television series. Paige is happy, but what will make things perfect for her is to have the man of her dreams all to herself. That may be difficult being he is married. Paige carries on the secret affair not thinking about who she hurts in the process. When she finally realizes what an affair like this will cost her, it’s too late because her life will never be the same. Summer Wilson, the youngest daughter, is happy to live off the allowance her father gives her every month until he cuts it down tremendously and forces her to get a job. Summer is unhappy about that but gets a job following the advice of her boyfriend, Seth, a software engineer, who goes out of his way to make her happy. But when a devastating incident happens at Summer’s new job and her father goes back on his word, Summer is drawn in by a new guy. He is handsome and charming and buys her all the things she wants. She ignores all the warnings from her family. When something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Once she finally realizes she’s made a huge mistake, it’s too late because she’s in too deep.

Good story, poor narration

story is intriguing but the computerized voice left the characters flat. Would be better with live narration.

Could've been better

It was a good story line, However, it ended strange. it was only 4hrs with no real ending. I will look for the actual book and hope it was mistakenly cut off. live actors would be better than the computerized voice.

What?

Is there a sequel? This book was good but it ended horribly. I hope the author is in the process of continuing the story.
