About this listen

A quiet village. A retired couple. A miracle that changed everything.

Sarah and Charlie had always wanted children. They had given up on that dream years ago. Since retiring from work, they enjoyed a relaxing life. Children of their own was a distant memory of a dream, but a miracle was about to change that. The miracle was children of their own. The children were unusual as they were flowers, miracle flowers that could walk and talk. What would life hold for two miracle flowers? What adventures would they experience? Would such a miracle bring happiness or sadness? How would you cope if you had the world's most famous flowers?

So so

The story about 2 elderly people who grow 2 plants that can speak is ok. There is nothing exciting or overly of interest in the story it's just a cute story more for a child. The narrator did a fairly good job but there was really nothing that stood out about this book. Just a sweet fanciful story.

Simplistic

This book was an interesting concept, but it was very simplistic, without a lot of action or depth to the plat. I think it would’ve been OK for children who were around 8 to 12 years old.

I think my brain grew hair.

Oh, no no no no no no no. What was this? If the POV had been first person it would have been like reading the personal journal of the most boring person on Earth. This would be a rip-off even if it was free because it robs you of an hour and a half of your life that you will never get back. Wasn't this supposed to be a Children's book? Please do not read this to a child! It will stunt their growth. I guess this is what happens when an author who writes golf and poker instructional manuals attempts to write a Children's book. I listened to this story in audiobook format. The narrator was only marginally good. This title was provided to me for review.
