About this listen

Can faith help us cope with the difficult times ahead? This book introduces Jordan Peterson's insights about the importance of Divinity in our lives and notes that Peterson's work is awakening the hearts and minds of a generation, prompting an army of young people to question the premises of secularism and ponder the tenets of faith.

This book is designed to summarize some of Peterson's important concepts including his ideas about the nature of reality and its constituent aspects, the structure of the mind, and the psychological necessity of the G-d ideal. These ideas will be presented through the lens of faith, referring to teachings which are drawn from a detailed study of the text of Genesis. Believers of monotheistic religions can explore how Peterson's concepts can be personally useful to readers of various backgrounds and denominations. In a book designed for both clergy and laypeople, both groups can be better facilitated with a fuller understanding of those ideas that are shaping a generation.

Annette Poizner, MSW, Ed.D, RSW, is a counselor, a published author and community educator. She completed her graduate degrees at Columbia University of New York and at the University of Toronto.
