hm

So, there IS an HEA at the end, but there is a tremendous amount of misery porn to get there. And so many tears and puke, and collapsing, and alcohol. Basically, the h is a hot mess and her life is a dumpster fire. If that sounds good, than this is definitely the book for you!

Loved Chase & Aria - audible had great emotion

Would you consider the audio edition of Through Her Eyes: A Novel to be better than the print version?

They are both very good!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Through Her Eyes: A Novel?

WOW, this is one of those reads that reaches deep inside you and rips your heart out and tears it to little pieces. The way Ms. Harrison writes Aria’s journey is breathtaking. It was an ugly cry for me and I could not put it down. I just had to see how it ended.

I always review without spoilers, so I can’t tell you much about how this plot goes, but I can say that Aria is haunted by her past. She blames herself for her brother’s death and although she told Parker that she didn’t want to be with him, she feels guilty for her feelings for Chase since she and Parker didn’t really resolve their feelings for each other. She feels like she is cheating on him, but she feels so connected to Chase and he is able to support her as she finds herself and she realizes that she is happier than she has been in forever….which hurts her at the same time since she still has unresolved feelings for Parker. When she is forced to go back home and leave the fantasy life she has been living while traveling in Europe may break her beyond anything she can recover from. Will she have found enough of herself that she will be strong enough to survive what New York holds for her? Will she realize that Chase is not the guy for her?

Be prepared that this brings out the ugly cry. To say Aria’s journey is not an easy one is a complete understatement. She is torn between two loves, but can she find the strength to live her life.

Have you listened to any of Caitlin Kelly’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first book by Ms. Kelly.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would have liked to, but it is too long.

Wow...

This one will get to your heart. It wasn't a ugly cry for me ...I don't enjoy those... but was a tear jerker and heart wrencher. Chase will melt your heart. The narration was awesome!

Could not finish

I was not able to finish this book. The characters were sweet but predictable. I felt this was not my type of book which made it hard to finish.

Sweet and heartfelt

Sweet and heartfelt is how I would sum up this book.

I did figure out what happened quite quickly but still cried my eyes out when the one person dies( sorry no spoilers so no mention of who died ). The images seemed so real while listening to this story.

Narrator was new to me, Caitlin Kelly does a great job on both MPOV as well as FPOV.

The friendship shown by all the characters was amazing and just as it should be. Now I wanna travel the world just as our heroes do.

This book had all the feels, disgust, worry, happiness, fright and overcoming it, tears and laughter as well as love 💕 y’all are in for a fun ride with this audiobook and it will be time we’ll spent❣️

LETTING GO IS NOT A SIGN OF WEAKNESS....

If you could sum up Through Her Eyes: A Novel in three words, what would they be?

A Life Lesson!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Chase! He is perfect, wise beyond his years...a free spirit!

Which character – as performed by Caitlin Kelly – was your favorite?

Aria was performed to perfection...even if I was disappointed with the character itself sometimes...but being young and damaged so early in life, makes for a troubled soul!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not all at once...but I did over a few days..

Any additional comments?

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **

Aria Bennett is a damaged girl, so young and so spiteful with grief that she can barely even stand herself...after rejecting her best friend, she flees to Italy and meets Chase..they take a journey together and find out they know each other better than they think...when Aria has to go home and the secrets come out...Aria has to pull her life together, let go of sorrow and grief and learn to love and move on without fear...Letting go is not a sign of weakness, but a mark of strength is the most powerful message here and I really liked this story...I think it may have even healed my own heart a bit!!

I recommend...well worth your time...The Narration is perfect and it is one that you will needs some tissues for!

I’m not crying, you’re crying

Great book! Reader beware though, this is not a fluffy romance. I cried many tears. But I do recommend this book for the romance readers and the readers that want a book with some real depth that makes you think.

3.5 Through Her Eyes Stars

Ok, so going in I was blind like I like to do. I am going to say overall I enjoyed this story it takes you through a journey of emotions that’s for sure. Though I didn’t cry but it is pretty heavy.

I think I would have enjoyed the story more if Aria Bennett didn’t have soooo much bad happen to her. I kind of felt like wow this girl is hel - la strong for everything she has been dealt.
Don’t get me wrong I am all for a rise up through the ashes kind of story but it was too much for one character.

Chase is a character I very much liked but after reflecting on the story I wonder if we really know anything about him other than his love for travel and photography and Aria.

I loved the ending as I do because I am a romance-a-holic and HEA’s are my thing.

I very much enjoyed the narration, I loved her male voices. I did find her voice to been young sounding but it worked for the story. I will be listening for more by this narrator that’s for sure.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Could not go very far into this book....

I am a total sap for romance novels and I absolutely LOVE Ava Harrison but I couldn't get past the first few chapters of this book. It sounds like the main character is a dramatic cry-baby. The narrator is all woe-is-me while narrating it. So couldn't do this one...
