About this listen
Birdie
I’m not sure if it was the thrill of the lust, his mind-blowing scent, or because of my loneliness, but I claimed a man who I thought was a breathtaking stranger. Turns out the tall, jaw-droppingly gorgeous wolf shifter is my childhood best friend, Sebastian Tucker.
Even though I’m hesitant to seal the mating bond, mainly because he’s six years younger than me, there’s something utterly desirable about him. Not only is the sexual attraction between us so hot it’s almost scandalous, Sebastian makes me feel confident, encouraging my passions and my personality, allowing me to truly be myself.
The boy I once knew and loved as a friend is becoming the man I’m quickly falling for.
Sebastian
The pain of thinking I would never see the love of my life again when she moved away was unbearable, but fate intervened when we crossed paths at the tree farm where I work. Even though she didn’t recognize me, Birdie McGee made my lifelong dreams a reality when she claimed me as her mate, and that’s a huge deal in the shifter world.
Her hypnotic scent seeping into my lungs verifies her lust for me, but our age gap may be the reason she’s hesitant. If Birdie leaves me again, she will forever wound my heart, but I’m willing to sacrifice everything for the chance.
We only have one thing left to seal the mating bond, and I’ve never been more ready to be bitten by my one true love.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Compiled by intrepid journalist Neve Pride, this archive of recordings spans the months after dragons emerged on earth, chronicling the communities that sprang up amid the destruction, the scientists, military leaders, and experts searching for a defense, and those steadfastly seeking the missing. Neve and her young daughter Bex travel among the wreckage speaking to those left behind and surviving, against all odds. Neve records everything for history, and in the hopes of locating a clue as to where the dragons came from and how one might stop them.

For some it’s an opportunity. For others it’s a moment to question their faith: In God, in science, in everything. Still others try to keep the world running in the face of absurdity and uncertainty. And then there are the billions looking to the sky and wondering how a thing that was always just there is now... something absolutely impossible.

Nothing short of amazing
This shifter holiday romance was everything I didn't realize I needed right now. This fast paced shifter romance gave me all the feels in a rollercoaster fashion that had me flipping the pages as fast as I could read. I loved that there was a connection that these two had from their past. Bringing out the best in each other and meeting them where they are. Loved it!
I read the ebook of this title earlier this year but having it is audio made it even more amazing. I am never disappointed by a book narrated by Paige Reisenfeld and PJ Freebourn. They bring a story to life in my ears.

Omg the story, the performance…was phenomenal
I read this story earlier this year and loved it! Reading AND listening to the story just adds more dimension to it. Paige Reisenfeld and PJ Freebourn are amazing! I know when I see either of their names that the audiobooks will be fantastic. They are definitely two of my favorite narrators.

Lumbersnack
Nothing like a shifter friends to lovers. This is one of my favorite Christmas novella now it comes to even more life in audio. Feisty Birdie unlucky in love in a job she hates in the city. When a holiday trip home has her questioning everything when she meets back up with her childhood friend Sebastian. Will old feelings arise? Sebastian has grown into a lumbersnack that is swoon worthy on every level he has always had feelings for Birdie. Will they rekindle old feelings? P.S.Nail never disappoints with story & spice!
