About this listen
Great feedback from early readers:
*This is a great weekend, get away from the world book.
*Two best friends set out to find answers.
*light-hearted book takes Tanner though plot twists and turns
A dragon appears above a village so small it has no name. The same day, Tanner, an orphan, inherits only a sword, and a medallion. He also finds a warrant issued which demands he be delivered unharmed to the King's Protector years ago, which would made him only five or six years old at the time. The warrant is his only clue. He must seek out the man who issued it to find out why.
With his best friend, he leaves his home where he finds the world outside his small valley far different. There are dangers, evils, friends, and foes. Mistakes are made. However, he cannot quit the quest, and worse, a black dragon follows him. Fearing for his life, he tries finding a way to kill the dragon. The idea sounds absurd. But either he must kill it or it will kill him.
To complicate matters, there are others who are determined to stop him from reaching his goal. Each has his own reasons. Tanner lurches along, trying to do what is right, and often unsure of what that is, but he persists.
