About this listen
For over a decade, Jake battles the Department of Justice and Bureau of Prisons, eventually culminating in an indictment and sixty-month prison sentence. He turns to ultra trail running-and its "get to the next aid station" mentality-as his therapy to help him endure these trials and return home to his loving family.

Redemption in Family and Running
A tear-jerker of a story of a man’s battle with a DOJ that doesn’t seem to be very interested in justice, and the hard work of keeping his family intact while he is incarcerated. The story is aided by comparing life challenges to trail running. You don’t have to worry about the finish line. Just make it to the next aid station.
