About this listen

Caroline Stone had spent the past few weeks arranging Charles's surprise birthday party with the help of her best friend. They had thought of everything from the fireworks, hogroast and drone racing, everything right up to the last detail. The evening had gone well and with great success with the drink flowed as the band played. So why has Caroline ended dead, laying face down covered in blood with a young man named Reece, both having been killed by the same bullet while they embraced in a deep passionate kiss. Charles was nowere to be found and the expensive motor bike gone from the garage. Detective Mac Savage now has a double murder to solve, but without any DNA other than that of the victims he's task seems a futile one. The house despite all the hi-tech camera equipment and surcurity features throughout gives him nothing to go on. Eight months have passed still no-one to charge or seemingly having a motive for the murders. Lots of potential suspects, but no evidence to back them up. As the strain of the murders begin to take its toll Mac and his team are assigned another murder case of their only other suspect, Mick Jones, found on the river bank drowned and castrated. Mac becomes determined to solve the Stone case so when he get a call saying Charles Stone had suddenly appeared, the plot takes yet a further twist still deeper into dark and immoral behaviour. The plot delves into hidden past lives of the victims and reveals more then they want you to know.
