About this listen

She wants to fight for him. He won't let her in.

Hadley Rexford wasn’t supposed to get under my skin. I thought she was like me, until I pushed her too far, and destroyed everything we had. Now, I want to hurt her. Consume her. In the end, I’ll make sure she’s only ever mine.

Cole Jagger wasn’t to supposed to become everything to me. But he did, before he pulled me into the darkness and left me there, abandoning me when I need him most. He’s broken. Depraved. In the end, I’m not sure I can save him. He might be the bad boy with no soul, and I might the girl with nowhere left to go, but one thing’s for sure: We’ll either walk into the light together or drown in the darkness forever.

Trust Him is book four of the Rebels at Sterling Prep, a possessive, immoral, dark high school bully-romance series.

I love this series and cannot wait to hear Conner's story. These Jagger boys are something and I find myself so curious about their father. Cole's book is definitely different than Ace. Cole is so much darker and there is a reason why. Hadley also has her own inner demons and these two together have some darker times, but love starts to grow. Their story is a really good duet and it's hard to say much without giving away spoilers. I recommend reading this series and I'd start at the beginning with Ace and Remy. Narration was wonderful. You can never go wrong with Teddy Hamilton. I've got to find more on this author. I love her writing!

Love them all! Ready for more! My only complaint is I want them to be longer lol. I finish them too quickly.

This was a very emotional story so get the tissue box ready. We learn Cole and Hadley’s secrets and some tragic events occur that really test our characters. Thank god they did get their HEA 🫶🏼

Narration was great! Teddy is perfect as Cole’s voice ❤️

Sometimes up and sometimes down this book takes you for a dark and emotional spicy ride. A lot happens quickly which can keep a reader engaged and never want to put it down, definitely read while you aren’t. distracted. Love this brother series and can’t wait to read the next!

I was really enjoying this series. The last book ended on a cliffhanger that had me immediately hitting play to see what would happen next. The cliffhanger itself was resolved pretty quickly, then things focused more on Cole & Hadley’s relationship. And it was rocky. The push and pull and constant running away got old, real quick. Look, I love a good dark/bully romance with a morally grey antihero. Even rough bedroom scenes. But this book went over that line and became straight-up abusive. The fact that Hadley was afraid to say something wrong and trigger his anger was cringy. But she lost me completely when she said that Cole needed violence to get his anger out, and it was okay to hurt her as long as he came back to her. Yikes. And while I correctly guessed most of what had happened to Hadley at home, I was disappointed in the way it was handled. I get that she was upset at the way her parents abandoned her. Even with how they made her choice for her. But the way things were worded was very anti-choice all together. Overall, there were a lot of heavy themes in this book and I found that they weren’t handled very well, especially Cole’s big secret. I will be continuing the series, only because Conner is my favorite and I’m still interested in his story.

This finally gave me more to understand Hadley, but I do wish there was more understanding on her hatred against Tim sooner. It’s very dark & heartbreaking, but so good. I laughed and cried. I felt so much. This was a great ending to Cole and Hadley! Plus I liked learning more about the brothers’ pasts and the relationships with James. I’m looking forward to Connor’s book; he always makes me laugh and I know that’s him coping, but I hope he still remains true.

Emotional, hot and great end

The conclusion of Cole and Hadley’s story still has me reeling. I couldn’t stop listening and was so emotionally invested. This is the first book in awhile that had me crying. I felt like I was there and experiencing everything they were experiencing. Their relationship was a bit toxic and they went through some messed up stuff and overcame. I want more of them! Now I’m looking forward to Conner’s story.

I'm still reeling!

The female narrator’s Hadley narration voice is so grating that it made the book hard to finish despite the compelling story and how much I love the Jagger brothers 😭

Narrator’s voice made this hard to finish

The Narrators were amazing!!! It’s amazing at how well they bring a story to life!! As for the story itself I was obsessed! So good and I have been hooked on this series just burning through each of them!!
