About this listen

Trust No Man is an urban street tale told in such vivid detail and with such gritty and compelling style, it's like watching a movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Terrence aka Youngblood is a young and jiggy stick-up kid in ATL with strict street principles respect for the code of his game, loyalty to those who are loyal to him, and much baby mama drama. Shan, Youngblood's cocaine sniffin' baby mama, violates him when she hooks up with one of his partnaz while Youngblood is serving a bid. When Youngblood touches down, it's on and poppin. Rich kid, a flamboyant drug kingpin wants to put Youngblood on his team, but Youngblood prefers to get his the fast way the ski mask way. When Youngblood hits a big lick, he finds out that more money means more problems.

Who can he trust? The answer will leave you speechless. Trust No Man is a story of murder, sex, money, bling, love, and betrayal. Get ready to have your every emotion touched. Trust No Man will do that!

Great Book

This book is very visualizing and full of detail. Salute to Ca$h for coming up with the different characters and keeping the storyline raw and uncut. The Narrator snapped to lol bro was changing voices and damn near sounding like the female lol. Whole Book Lit Man!

Story is suppose to be based in ATL, but is read with a Cali accent.

I'm from Atlanna Jawja and I couldn't connect with the story, based in ATL, during the era of Blockbuster video and pagers/beepers and pay phones, all because the Narrator read the story with a CALI Accent. He ain't een say Shawty right not nan time. Changing voices for characters is fine, but don't do accents if you can't match the correct accent with the region/demographic of people. It just kept throwin me off. Then in the story Youngblood's ass dressed like he was straight from New York for the Player's Ball. I was like whet da hell! Story was cool, not quite finished yet but it's straight. Oh yeah dude kept saying the girl was (din jee) when I think he was supposed to be saying (ding ee/dingy) lol.

Off to a good start.

If you enjoy books about the hood, or are just curious about how street life, this is a great fictional rendition, though greatly embellished, of the plight of a common street hustler. The narration is nice although it is also a bit dry at times. The story's progression is slow at first but then it rapidly picks up. I would at least get to chapter 3 before you decide whether you want to continue or not.

Good Read with different twist!

A mixture of a Kwan novel and the movie Menace to Society. With a springle of Whida Clark.
