About this listen

The D-day landings: the fate of 2.5 million men, 3000 landing craft, and the entire future of Europe depends on the right weather conditions on the English Channel on a single day. For meteorologist enthusiasts only!

Despite the outstanding narration of Sean Barrett, with his usual mellifluous voice and convincing character portrayals, the plot was slow to develop and the story was full of explicit technical references to meteorology and other scientific topics. Fine for those with an avid interest in these subjects.
