About this listen
Collins makes language learning fun, fast and flexible. Pick up the essentials of the Turkish language with this easy-to-use audio introduction. Covering everything from finding your way to talking about yourself, Collins 40-minute audio can help you learn short and simple phrases quickly by just listening and repeating.
Collins Gem Phrase Books are designed for ease of use, with practical, flexible phrases that can be adapted to suit the needs of the traveller. But often, it’s not the question that’s the problem, it’s the reply. This downloadable audio file for your Audible-compatible mp3 player (including your iPod) addresses this problem.
Along with the key phrases you need to get by – simple, to-the-point and polite – the audio file gives you an idea of what the shopkeeper, the waiter, or the passer-by you ask directions from may say to you.
This volume uses this unique approach to teach the reader (and listener) Turkish quickly and effectively.
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

If you could sum up Turkish in 40 Minutes in three words, what would they be?
Good, Useful, BoringWas this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It's only 36 mins, so I listened to it all at once, but I think you will have to review it back twice or more later on so the words could stick on your mind.Any additional comments?
I think if they just spoke a little but more faster it would have been better. I mean to learn what she was saying I have to know how to say it the normal speed. Overall it's very useful to learn basic Turkish Vocab.A Good one For beginners, but somehow boring.
