I never felt more seen
Through her life story and the struggles she had when younger bit not realizing it until Years later. This book has helped me discover and confirm my own autism because we had such similar experiences and was called similar names. Well written and read.

Clearly written by an autistic
As a reader of many great authors, at first I was bothered by the circular storytelling and simplistic language. Then I realized that it demonstrates how our minds work.
I am also a late diagnosed autistic woman. Autism can look so different in each individual yet there are so many places I was nodding my head over shared experiences.
I appreciate that Jeanne has shared her story so candidly even though I understand that she is a compulsive truth teller like me. It seems to be a common autistic characteristic.

So relatable
Listened to it in one go. Autism feels like struggling in a maze no one else seems to see. Yes.
