lots of words, lots of repetition

A.I. keeps mispronouncing words. There's no way to tell if a male or female is talking unless you hear "she said or he said" after the dialogue.

No natural buildup

The intensity from the male character at the end didn't make sense based on earlier scenes. Seemed like a character from a totally different story. Also, so many unanswered question and opportunities to give depth left unexplored.
Spoiler alert: She's been dating this guy for years yet his family and friends don't acknowledge her in any way at his wedding to someone else? How is ex keeping tabs on her new boo but didn't keep tabs on her before then to know that new boo was really a new boo, then after warning her says nothing to them at the wedding? Many unexplained moments like this throughout. Gonna take a break from this author. I do hope she keeps writing. Hoping for some development when I return.
