About this listen

Elijah Goldsmith has nightmares he needs to ignore. Why would a rich kid from Manhattan dream three straight nights about a dragon and the destruction of St. Peter’s Basilica? He’s never even been to Rome.

It’s bad timing, too. He’s graduating soon and applying to be a spy in the International Security Agency. That’s where he meets Naomi. She’s the kind of girl who makes boys like Elijah want to share their secrets. Were they brought together to learn what his secrets mean? There’s more to their sparks than they think.

Facebook actually didnt lie

Got the book based of a Facebook ad. The add did not lie, I was hooked within a couple of chapters and ended up listening to all 3 volumes in less than 2 weeks.

read this book it is really something.

I rarely write reviews so it speaks volumes that I am taking this moment to let you other readers know how much I truly enjoyed this book. From minutes into the 1st chapter I couldn't put it down. Either way you go whether reading or listening you cannot go wrong. Good stuff people.

imaginative fictional interpretation of endtimes

left behind? what's that?
this is a better reimagined work of fiction for a more modern world. I can't wait to begin book 2!

If you’re a Christian don’t get this

If you’re a Christian and looking for a good end times book, I would skip this.
While I liked the story I was very disappointed in the way the author interpreted scripture. It was not accurate at all.
Because of that I will be returning this book and not finishing the series.
I highly do not recommend this book...

Not Christian

Look. I know there are factions within Christ's church, but... I couldn't get past the first two hours or so. Prophetic dreams? Ancient orders? No. When Dispensational Christians cite Joel 2's prophesy of "your children will dream dreams," they forget that the "your" in that prophesy is directed at the Jews (not gentile evangelicals) and Peter said clearly in Acts 2 that they were seeing Joel's word fulfilled in that day... two thousand years ago.

Ancient orders? I leave that to the Roman Catholics.

The story telling is ok; better than Left Behind by lightyears. However, it's almost as if the author is trying too hard.

If you wish to know about eschatology, that's a beautiful study, but please keep in mind that it's a rather new idea (within the last 100 years, not to mention completely unknown to Darby) that we limit the concept to the "last days."

All in all, if you want a fast-paced story, exegetical guidelines notwithstanding, you'll find this a 4-5 star book. If not, save your "credit" for something else.
