The thing that struck me was how easy Dr. Sullivan makes it to access the info. She avoids a lot of jargon you can find in similar books. Instead, she puts stress-management, hormonal health, energy, and a bunch of other topics on a level anyone can understand.
I think anyone who listens to the audiobook will come away with a lot of practical advice for things like diet and exercise. Granted, none of the information is revolutionary, but Dr. Sullivan's way of connecting the little things we do every day to our long-term health prospects is excellent. And if we're honest with ourselves, we tend not to think too much about hormone health - this book emphasizes its importance for living a long and happy life. An excellent audiobook.

I picked up this book hoping to learn a bit more about what's going on with my body, and I was impressed with the amount of information that it contains. It gives a detailed explanation about how hormones specifically play a role in our health and the things we can do to stay healthy. The book also talks about the myths surrounding Hormones. It shared what if you suspect you may have an imbalance in your body due to hormones low count or deficiency, thyroid hormone or something else. At least, I have learned one key aspect to staying healthy.
