Goodsell is back, and while I am not a member of the church of latter day saints I do find his revelations very interesting to listen to. What he basically does is point out common mistakes that people make while reading the 1st and 2nd books of Nephi. He puts the listener back into the know, and helps them see where their interpretation went off the rails. Clinger narrates in a very clean and concise manner without error. He makes Goodsell's points and helps you understand his meaning. Even though I did receive a promo code for this review it in no way influenced my considerations of the material, and in fact, inspired me to be more honest. In fact, getting a code generally makes me harsher as a reviewer as I am more often concerned what someone like Me will decide based on my review.

This audio translation uses digital word recognition software, not someone reading the book. Thus every word delivered is staccato. So painful. Also, proper names like “Nephi” are mispronounced as “Neff-e” instead of “knee-f-eye”.

NOT narrated - digital word recognition
