About this listen
In the shadow of their father's legacy, Del, Sharon, Elizabeth, and Vivian Kyle find themselves standing at a crossroads, facing the most heart-wrenching decisions life could ever bestow upon them. Their bonds, once unbreakable, are strained as they are compelled to make choices that demand the ultimate sacrifices. Yet, their destinies are inextricably linked to the very survival of the Magical Communities, and they carry the weight of that responsibility upon their shoulders.
Betrayals, both painful and reluctant, cast long shadows over their path. Loyalties are tested, and the choices they make may tear at the very fabric of their family. But in their hearts, there's an unyielding determination to protect and preserve the lives of all those who call the Magical Communities home.
James Gardner again manages to ensnare his audience with "Witches Rises". It is not just a story; it's an emotional rollercoaster, a pulse-pounding journey that will take you to the edge of your seat and beyond. It's a tale of love, sacrifice, and the indomitable spirit of those who dare to defy the odds. As you immerse yourself in their world, be prepared for a gripping, heart-pounding thrill ride that will leave you both breathless and emotionally fulfilled.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Magic and Mystery in the Modern World
If you're a fan of urban fantasy, Urban Magic is definitely worth a listen. The audiobook does a fantastic job of blending the mundane with the magical, creating a world that feels just a step away from our own. The plot is fast-paced, with twists and turns that keep you hooked until the very end. The only drawback is that some of the secondary characters could have been more fleshed out, but this doesn't detract much from the overall experience. The narrator's performance is top-notch, capturing the essence of each character and the atmosphere of the city perfectly. A solid choice for your next audiobook adventure.

Enchanting and Gritty—A New Urban Fantasy Favorite
Urban Magic takes listeners on a thrilling ride through a city where the ordinary meets the extraordinary. The audiobook is well-produced, with a narrator who masterfully conveys the tension and excitement of the story. The world-building is impressive, seamlessly integrating magical elements into a contemporary urban setting. While the plot is engaging, there are moments where it feels slightly predictable. However, the strength of the characters and the intriguing magic system more than make up for this. Whether you're new to urban fantasy or a seasoned fan, Urban Magic is an audiobook that will keep you entertained from start to finish.
