About this listen

Who knew scuba diving abrasions could cause death?

Forensic pathologist Dr. Jill Quint is a brilliant mind in the world of death investigation. But when she and her three closest friends—a social media maven, a forensic accountant, and a photographer—are thrown into a twisted murder case, they'll need all their skills to unravel the clues and catch the killer. As they delve deeper into the mystery, they'll discover that nothing is as it seems and that the truth is more sinister than they ever imagined. With unexpected twists and turns, this gripping mystery story will keep listeners on the edge of their seats until the very end. The story moves from San Francisco, to San Juan, and back to central California. Dr. Quint puts it all on the line to uncover the truth about the death of a young attorney. Listen to VIALS, the first book in the long Jill Quint series.

the monotone narration...I had to double-check to see that it was not AI (which I will never listen to again). It made it so that I had to painfully replay some sections because it was so hard to listen to. A shame, really, because the storyline was good even though it did jump around a bit.
I would like a chance to listen with one of my favorite narrators!

Awful monotone non-inflective narration
